October marks the close of my first year with the K11 and also my participation in this forum. It's been a great experience and although I've confessed to coveting other bikes occasionally on these pages, I remain pretty happy with the K.
With respect to my participation in the forum, although I remember getting a little prickly sometimes in non motorcycle discussions, it's been a real pleasure to follow what others are up to and get help when needed. Hopefully as I get more experienced I'll provide as much help as I get.
With respect to the people here I've actually met in person or by phone, those interactions are characterized by one common thread: uncommon generosity in both big ways and small. Thanks to all! _________________ Jim

I agree with your point of view, Jim.
By K11OG , I had met great people in person, as jo, mo, Jim, Dave, Paula, Steve, and so many others in the cyberspace.
In fact, like in the old car field, the K11 is only the tool to the trully valuble end, to meet good people all over the world, and ride a little toghether!

I HAVE been here for a few years. It does feel like family. Some are wrong; some are wierd (not mentioning names, JO). Just like all families, we are not all the same. But get us together and it's like Thanksgiving dinner and Grandma's. We may argue a little, but we're really all friends and family. _________________ Ride Safe,

Gee I feel like a real old timer here....I can't even remember when I got here....sometime in 1991...maybe?
And I'm still here...even though I don't have a BRICK anymore...still have a K though so I'm still a 'K-pilot'.
Met a few KOGer a few years ago when I tried to organize a KOG rally. We did get together in Taos, NM way beack when.
Well enjoy those BRICKs....they are a gret engine....albeit hot ones. _________________ Mike Gullery
