|
|
My Sidestand Cutout Switch has been acting really erratically (often the bike won't start for a half hour or so), so i decided to order the "contact ring" that disables it (http://www.ibmwr.org/ktech/sidestand-bypass.shtml).
However, I can't for really figure out where to connect it, the diagram in the repair manual (p. 61.11) is really confusing. Is someone able to point me in the right direction? I am planning to go to the Catskills rally tomorrow, would really hate to miss...
That's what it looks like, so where the heck is that connection to the switch???

The easiest way is to just ziptie the activator to the arm at the sidestand base. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

The activator clicks each time I move the side stand as expected. I suspect it's not the activator, but the wiring. _________________ ---------------------

Ribber two lead connector - most likely under the rider portion of the seat along the right frame rail. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I rigged my last K11 at the connector behind the side panel with a jumper wire to keep it "on" all the time.
