Klinker's final drive blew a seal in Lewiston, Idaho. His sister rescued him to Seattle after he rented a U-Haul trailer. He came over and bought a final drive from me on Tuesday. Then I hopped on the Wera bike and headed over with some tools to help him swap final drives.

My labor rate was a whole two beers - and that included calibrating his speedo and installing LEDs in the cluster.
I also gave him a bag o' freshly cooked Dungee too. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

i think at two beers + the cost of driving out to wherever you are at at any given moment would still be cheaper than taking the bike to the local dealer! _________________ (formerly) 1993 k1100rs |
