Hey Johnny,

Just watching a bald eagle being harassed by a couple of red-winged
black birds while I type this in (cue announcer voice) MY BRAND NEW
HOUSE!!

Yeah not much riding this summer on either the K or the Burg or even
the Buggatti. More time spent on the tractor landscaping, mowing, or
just moseying...

I do lurk occasionally to see what you guys are up to, I hope to get
a little more road time & try to contribute something once in a while.

After sitting on a new Triumph Scrambler, & reading 388 posts on the
ADV site, I have had this strange desire to break out of a Stalag &
jump a fence or two...

Given your location, we're happy that you have found your two-month riding window, and appreciate the limits on your participation .

I was raised down by Wisconsin Dells, but have lived in the Southwest since the early 70's and have found that I can't go home any more.

But I towed my K12LT up there this summer for a four-day ride along the east and west sides of the Mississippi with my brother (in Eau Claire and an SO in Superior). Now that I also have the K75, I might come back for a Lake Superior ride next summer (though my family tends towards HDs that limit the distance we can cover in a day).
