I have a floppy antenna that just wont stay up; been that way since I got it so I figure its missing something that it needs. PO lost or forgot something when installing a farkle, maybe.
I want to fix it but need an estimate on how much time to remove and replace the body work so I can figure out when I will have time to fix it.
Thanks, _________________ '93 K1100LT 61k |

Naw just have to remove the speaker plastic piece, which I became very good at. 10mm nut on the inside...don't over tighten it...there is a rubber crush washer. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Thanks, thats good to know. I've been trying to get my big arm up under there for years now. My antenna usually lays on the side mirror. _________________ 1993 K-1100LT. 1986 K-75C . 1992 K75RT. 1976 Honda CB 750A |

Just my .02 but I think it's easier to pull the windscreen assembly off.
Undo the six screws around the front perimeter and then the four from the upper inner panel. Then lift it out carefully - the hard part is disconnecting the wiring harness connector from the windscreen motor but I think all in all it's easier then the other way. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
