|
So I get the orders.
Get the shirts made.
Money comes in, shirts sent out.
Foriegn orders are different because they pay full shipping charges so I send prior to recieving the money.
A KOGer in England orders up a XXXL short sleeve....I make a mistake and order a long sleeve. E-mail him and he is adamat that he wants a short sleeve. So I go back and beg the T-Shirt guy to make ONE more shirt. Costs me more for another set-up. I ask the guy in England if he pays for shipping for both I'll send both for the price of one. Hey it was my mistake. He agrees. I send the shirts and e-mail with the final cost.
That was April 10, 2009.....almost 3 months ago.
A month ago he said he sent payment. I didn't receive it. He says he's waiting to make sure the bank didn't cash it (thinking I am trying to take him twice I guess).
So I go out of my way. Take on extra costs and he gets TWO free shirts.
Sorry but I had to vent. This is the only second time I have been stiffed on the shirts. Oh well. _________________ Mike Gullery

Sorry to hear mate.
Don't let one or two bad experiences dissuade you. We really appreciate the time and effort and money you put into this non-profit endeavor.
I have not owned a Motobrick for almost 2 months now, but I wear my 3 K11OG shirts with pride. (would be 4 but I gave one to that hump in Fla) _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Two shirts?
So THAT'S where mine snuck off to!
Please don't let shit like this stop you from doing it next year. I've only got one so far and it's starting to show it's age. I need a backup! _________________ M N B

I say tell us who he is!
With the consensus of the group, I say reimbursing you would be a fair and appropriate use of any income from sticker sales. _________________ Jim

And I haven't forgotten I still owe you $5.00 (and a couple of J.D.'s and coke). Not trying to stiff you, just plain lazy and busy and you will get it this year!

And here I though posting would awaken the culprit.
No such luck. Even direct e-mail has no response...and he said he received the shirts a long time ago.
we have stickers?????
Oh yeah i have a couple on my helmet. _________________ Mike Gullery

You need a scale model of a K1100 with the thief's name on it and some fine drill bits to act as voodoo pins.
Still no money from the offender? Start plunging the "needles" into the model. His K1100 will begin to have multiple, mysterious breakdowns.
Wait a minute- my K-RS already does that.................. _________________ John & Cathy

When you do nice things for people, sometimes you get burned. But don't let that stop you from being the good guy you are. I once sent a near perfect set of front brake calipers for a Honda to a guy in Florida. He needed the parts but was tight on cash. I told him he could have the calipers free, just send me the twelve bucks for shipping. Never heard from him again. Sent a free Honda seat to another guy, never got paid for shipping. Some people just suck. Guess it's not just Honda guys either. But fortunately, these cheap ass people are few.
