No - it isn't normal. Both tires should lose a little air over time. Your front either has a puncture - or the wheel is damaged - or the tire isn't seated properly on the bead. _________________ Jim

Thanks I'll have it checked by the shop that put it on.
It's a new tire only 500 miles on it. _________________ In the words of the stones

With all that water in your yard, if you take the wheel off roll it in the water and look for bubbles.
That will tell you where your problem is. _________________ Ride safe.

Put a bit of spittle on the end of the uncapped valve stem, and see if a bubble forms. Sometimes the valve core doesn't seat properly. If so, it's a cheap fix.

How much air do you think you loose evey time you check tire pressure?
Check the pressure in your tire ten times, bet it'll be a pound or two lower the tenth time.

Whatever the cause, it's more likely to get worse than better. If it get's worse fast it could do anything from stranding you to killing you. That much pressure loss is unacceptable, especially on a vehicle with only one other wheel. _________________ Jim
