bought a 1994KLT, Gina's BMW in Iowa did a brake bleed srevice just before I bought it. The front brakes are way soft and the rear isn't much better. I've ridden 90's era BMW's for years and never had a issue with K or Oilhead brakes. I think airhead brakes might be more effective than the one's on this KLT! Any ideas?

I'd guess air in the lines somewhere. The brakes on these bikes are pretty good - especially compared to a 2 valve K.

Well, if you are anywhere near Gina's, take it back! Tell Julius the brakes are soft. Their service is usually pretty good.

Since you give your location as "United States" it's kind of difficult to tell where you are.

My '95 also came thru Gina's and had soft brakes when I bought it from J.O.
In my overhaul with new pads and new brake hoses they are nice and firm now.
Julius isn't in charge of service anymore. They have had quite a bit of staff turn over the last couple of years including the service and sales managers.

It's possible you could have a hose getting soft and expanding on you.
