Hi,
Need some help with the bars on my RS. After breaking my collarbone a few months ago my right arm aches after about 20 miles. This will get better with time, but I found the bars a bit low before. Is it possible to adjust the stock RS bars, or should I start thinking about fitting C bars? Anyone have a photo of an RS fitted with C bars? |

Since it sounds temporary, how about a set of "bar-backs"?
This way you won't disturb the handlebar grips, switches, etc...
The first RS I bought had them on it without any other mods (no changes to wires or cables needed) other than a different cutout for the key switch.

I might try that. Anyone know where to get barbacks in the UK?
In the meantime, I've just adjusted the stock bars by swivelling them forwards in the clamps. They're now almost an inch higher, but of course slightly further forward. Just going out for a spin to test them. |
