Has anyone swapped a k1200lt engine into a k1100lt?
If so, can all the wiring, and computer be compatable?
I am really getting tired of my "buzy" engine.

That swap is not that hard to do. You must use your 1100 bellhousing to adapt the transmission. Otherwise, your 1100 systems will run the 1200 engine with no problems. Use your 1100 water outlet pipe, throttles, airbox and computer. A friend of mine did this to his K11RS a few years ago.

Hi,
I thought the reason the K1200 is less "buzzy" is because the engine is rubber mounted. If thet is the case, I doubt the K1200 engine will be less "buzzy" in the K1100 frame if it is mounted the same as the K1100 engine.

Ride Safe,
That is true. Then again, some just buzz more than others.
