I am putting back together the '94 K RS. It came to me with the motronic out of it. I could use a couple of "stock" photos of the battery hold down/ main motronic wiring. I am having a hard time thinking that a metal plate sits so close to the battery terminals. Also, on the left side of the tranny there is a bolt that in my k100 carries a main ground...this bike had nothing connected to it?

Your bike grounds differently - not like a 2V. Don't worry about it.

The stock BMW batteries come with plastic cover to prevent the positive terminal from contacting the motronic mounting plate/battery hold down. When I replaced my stock battery with a Westco battery I added a shim under the plate to prevent contact with the positive terminal.

No one here stock photos but while I was changing out my K&N air filter for a OEM I took this.

Thanks for the shot. That does help.....Bike came with battery disconnected and motronic out.

I could use one more...from the under-seat down to top of Motronic.

It appears that your battery ground comes around the right side of the battery. I was bringing mine over the top, but something is just not right.

I did not know where to run the main FI wire and the attached grounds.

Where do you attach the large ground (other than the battery ground)
