|
|
| Put 210 miles on the k1100rs today. First ride of any distance. Grin factor was a 10. Ride went much better then I thought it would. Adjusting the spoiler on the windshield helped a lot. Gear indicator went a little crazy a couple of times. Riding position took a little getting used to. Heated grips don't work, will have to track that down, need them in FL. I replaced the fork seals and the left side leaked like crazy. The previous owner put about 5k miles it with the leaking fork. He may have ruined the tube. One of the tubes looks like it has a hot spot, never saw that before. Bike has 33k miles on it. Bottom line is I am keeping the bike. I enjoyed riding it more as the miles went by. |

congrats on the ride
I love my RS. I don't think I'll ever sell it.
my heated grips don't work either, I will fix mine one day.
But it's spring now and don't need them in St. Augustine. _________________ In the words of the stones

Real riders don't waste time stopping for food.

I got it from Johnny. Dont know if it was taken at his AA seminar or family reunion - probably not much difference between those two groups though. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Johnny doesn't live to ride - he rides to eat. Wait a minute - he doesn't eat to live, he lives to eat... Never mind, I'll get it right one of these times... _________________ Jim

Some people aren't engaged in that battle - they don't fight it - they just give in... _________________ Jim

Sometimes I think Johnny only has a bike so he can get to the next diner quicker _________________ 1995 K1100RS
