Here wait.., let me throw some more gas on the past vs. present administration fire.

Got it from the Chattanooga Times Free Press: http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/opinion/cartoons/

So when we hear from the right about Obama giving money away, let's think about how much (4x) money we wasted in Iraq. Does the name Halliburton come to mind?

Yeah, but if you do a dollars wasted per day comparison, Obama's quickly off to a MASSIVE lead.

Nearly $1 trillion in less than 30 days.

Excuse me, cashier? Where's my Change We Can Believe In?

Here's where the argument falls flat. Whether the dollars invested in the stimulus bill will be a waste is, as of yet, an unknown.

The dollars spent on daisy bombs, combat-related medical and mental health care for troops and everything that Haliburton stole from us - all for an illegal preemptive war...I'm pretty sure you can consider those tax dollars WASTED.

Not to mention the billions fooking given to the banking and mortgage industry.

Yeah, that was money well spent.

I am by no means supporting 'Bush's' actions, however the money spent in Iraq and Afganistan over a 7 year period didnt equal what was spent in the 1 day stimulus as it will relay into debt. The comparison is correct in the amount, however it fails to provide that spending borrowed money on the stimulus is any wiser.

So...Klinker you think tax dollars spent on health care for troops that didn't ask to go to this war was a waste of money...

I am 100% sure that he meant the money spent because of combat injuries that were obtained in an illegal war that has done nothing but kill our men and women, make more enemies and make the defense/oil/pharmaceutical/etc industries filthy rich.

Or, more simply put, money that would not have been spent if Dubya had not started a war that will never end.

If there were no unwarranted combat, there'd be no combat-related health care costs. I chose my words carefully. Please read them carefully.

I have nothing but respect for the courage of our troops. I have nothing but pity for the fact that they are obligated to fight and risk their lives to follow the orders of callous, malicious and immoral leaders.

I admire your service and courage, sir...
