For some weird reason I like your busted-ass RS.

thanks me two
It's a work in progress alot of little stuff but
I like things as close to factory specs as possible
except for the seat one day I will have a duel corbin seat
or something close to it
I took the backrest off because the wood was desintegrated. kept the
backrest in hope's to replace the wood inside.
but for now it does a good job straping things like a 12 pack to drink when i get home on the weekends _________________ In the words of the stones

You should see my LT. It's still covered in bugs from my ride to Montana in September.
And the RS has rain streaks from riding home from CA in January.
Next month they get their semi-annual detailing. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I try to ride mine to work every day. the problem is sometimes I carpool to save money ..ok because I'm a wimp and if it get's below 40 degrees I take my car and carpool
I do not have cold weather gear. but I have found that I you get knee pads " for 20 bucks at home depot" that construction workers wear and put them on under a rain suit they keep the knees warm when riding in 40 degree weather I've found the ole rain suit keeps the cold wind off
as well.
I just like riding my K-bike
rt now mornings are very cold for fl, but after work it's 50 to 70 degrees
And i don't like to wash my k1100rs or my cars. to dusty in fl. _________________ In the words of the stones

It only gets in the teens once or twice a year.a cold morning is in the 30's a really cold morning is in the 20's . the only jacket I own is my leather motorcycle jacket. I don't normaly use a coat/jacket because I warm up the car befor i drive to work and no matter what the temp is in the morning,
It's always above 50 degree's on the way home. after all it is fl.
so I don't have any cold weather gear.I do need to get some for the future. but for now I just wear my rain suit when the temp is in the 40's and it blocks the wind and i stay warm. the 30's it gets to cold. _________________ In the words of the stones

You have to understand how fastidious Drake is.
He probably could not sleep at night knowing you were driving around with half a case. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Naw, you're just fooled by the pictures I take. Both my bikes are sitting in the garage and have been dirty for months. The LT (aside from the windscreen, is still covered in September bug crap. If I ever get my heated jacket back from MAW I"m gonna take it out for a rain ride to "wash" it. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

I think I'm gonna try that stuff that you use to polish cloudy light lenses on cars and brings them back to clear. My cases are faded but when you wet them they are nice and black until they dry, then as you see they are faded again. has anyone done this?? _________________ In the words of the stones

"Mother's" makes a product called Back to Black that works really well on my black cases. _________________ John & Cathy
