Did you test ride it? Or just paint your nails and take pictures?

rydor...
you know as well as anyone... th1nk1ng back to when you actually rode a motobr1ck... that the butt cupp 1s as 1mportant as anyth1ng...
fdk11og...
we rode... not far... the real test 1s sat n sun... 1t feels good on the short short... but the oc to bakers to death valley to beatty to bakers to the oc w1ll be about 800 miles th1s weekend... mounta1n tw1st1es and sweeper madness and slabb... should know by sunday n1ght...
1 asked that the whole seat be 1" taller 1n overall he1ght... the r1ders part to be 1" shorter front to back and the passenger area to be 1" longer front to back... w1th the emphas1s on the passenger ta1l bone area and the passenger sl1de forward area...
he d1d all of this... just s1tt1ng and r1d1ng around the hood 1 can feel 1m about an 1nch h1gher... about an 1nch forward... and feel much more on the bug than 1n the bug...
m1ck1 reports the foam is substant1al 1n the ta1l bone area and she s1nks 1nto the passenger area mak1ng the sl1de forward area just r1ght... she also has more room between me and the 22 l1ter...
the russell w1ngs are only about 1/2" wider on both s1des of the new seat... the russell looks much w1der but 1ts only about 1" w1der overall...
after 4 months 1t should be r1ght... shouldnt 1t... we shall see...

However it feels, it looks 100x better than that flying maxi pad you had going on before. _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Could you show me what it's supposed to look like?
Or is that as it should be? _________________ 1993 K1100RS aka The Shop Whore

Is that a BMW seat bottom - it looks different from my K1100 seat bottom. Any BMW logos or #s on it?
Looks like some one has ground off a couple of the seat bottom bumpers in order to get a better/lower fit. _________________ Dave Norris KOG 248

Ya was going to say one of the bumpers was worn off, but looking at it closely it does look like someone took an angle grinder to it.
@Dave...hows that shock working out for you? _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

I've had two Ruzzells - both had BMW seat pans. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
