I see folks talking about sythetics for the motor, the tranny and the rear end, but not the forks. Is petro fork oil fine or is sythetic useable as well?
Thanks, Brent _________________ '93 K1100 LT

I've used normal (no synth) and semi synth, I'm sure synth would be fine... you pays your money and taks yor choice... better to get the weight right first. _________________ Adrian in Somerset, UK

Thanks. Wasn't sure if regular was fine. Good website you have there! Am interested in getting a dualsport tourer for rougher travel. Found your progression of bikes interesting and helpful.
