|
|
I put my RS up in the garage for a couple months. I rode it today and noticed the temp gauge isn't working, it was when I last rode it. I checked the fuses, all good. I removed the gauge and checked and cleaned/lubed the connections, still no good. That's it for my diagnostic skills. Any suggestions? Thanks. _________________ Mark Rooney

Did you check the connection to the engine? It is in the front of the engine at the bottom. While you are there you might want to check to see if the sending unit is at fault.
Good luck,

IF you pull the lead off of the sensor and ground it to the engine it should peg the needle on the gauge. That'll let you know if it's the gauge or sensor. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks for the replies. After I read them I checked the lead and it was disconnected from the sensor. Wheww! I like the simple solutions _________________ Mark Rooney
