I'm reassembling after repairing a broken fairing bracket. Having trouble remembering whether the small plastic flaps that "seal" the fairing to under the gas tank get sandwiched between the upper and lower fairing parts or just trapped under the fasteners that hold upper to lower. I'm using the stainless fastener kit from Desmoparts. One good thing about this is that you expect to have a pile of fasteners left on the bench when you're done since you've been replacing most of them. _________________ Jim

I'm finding that some of the nylock nuts and body nuts seem worn out which is really frustrating if you have to go backwards to get to it. Are these standard hardware items or BMW parts? _________________ Jim
