Hi.

Bought a set of H4-3 xenon conversion from http://www.vvme.com to install on my K11LT. ( Half ot the set on the K11 and the other part on a snowmobile ).
Anyone been there and done it on a K11'n ?

PS. a bit of luxury in my area as riding season are from april to september with bright nights most of that time up here close to arctic circle. But better lights are needed in aug-sept and on trips to central europe.

Hi Tibbe, yes, I went there and did that! Very happy with the result except that the main beam is pretty weak. I got the twin bulb with HID on dip and normal halogen on main beam. I now use the main beam for normal daylight use as it's better than a halogen dip and not bright enough to dazzle. At night I use the HID dip and main beam plus drive lights if I need to see long distances.. How you finding the new setup?

I've got a dippable HID, a solenoid moves the lamp to the correct position, very happy with it. Some lights need the shroud others do not, the K light does.

I also fitted an LED strip instead of the side light as it looked sooooo yellow.

Thanks for your replies, will mount the bi-xenon next week on the K11.
Tried it on a R100RS, what an improvement.

A Q. accordning to EU-regulations a bi-xenon headlight should be able to manually adjust while riding.
Thinking of modify the present adjustment so it's reachable while riding or fit an electric-adjustment from f.ex. a 5-serie headligt.
Any tips?

Hi
I have just fitted a BiXenon to my K1100LT and what a difference, i have twin halogen spot lights mounted under the headlight as i do a lot of filtering on my commute to work, now with the HID setup i dont need to have them on, the light given out is a very crisp white making the halogens look yellow and dim.
The cars do seem to move out of the way more than they did before.
I am also thinking along the lines of fitting a motor setup to adjust the light so I can lift it a bit whilst filtering and drop it when on the open road.
