When I installed my mirror mounted Hella FF50s, I just ran the wiring over the side of the fairing and under the knee panel.
When Gwen and Steve recently put lights on with similar brackets, they had the brains to route the driving light wiring through the hole for the turn signal wiring.
I have lots of free time down here in Rancho Mirage and my bike needs a new front tire so I spent a few hours rewiring things yesterday.
When I installed the mounting brackets, I placed some 1/8" thick rubber between the metal bracket and the fairing body to protect the paint. Yesterday I took eveythigng apart and cut a channel in the rubber to accommodate the dirving light wires. (I'm not very good with MS Paint and a laptop mousepad.)
Now the wiring disappears under the mirror extender:

I'm glad you liked the idea.
I'll be blaming you when I put the LEDS I bought in the reflectors

Duck, tell me about those slick bar end weights. Mine are still the stock black plastic covers over ugly metal weights.
I replaced my stock grips with the pro grips you recommended and they are awesome, nice and grippy and a smaller diameter than the stock with the crummy neoprene wraps I had on them.
But I love the stainless steel look of those bar end weights, where did you get them? _________________ Steve

On the SW the throttle lock set came in that shinny SS look w/ a red stripe.

Was that set both ends? Or just the throttle side. A red stripe would look sharp with my red scheme, and I've wanted a throttle lock as well, any links? _________________ Steve

The set came with both sides.
There should be a pic of them in my SW thread. I can't see pics at work.
I found this pic on the web, they look just like this.

Steve - even at $100.00, the Audiovox cruise control is cheaper than Throttlemeisters! Unless you can find someone selling them cheap. I have them on the K - they came with it. I don't like the Throttlemeister as much as the Flip-a-lever. And I don't like either of them as much as the cruise...
I've seen Flip-a-levers go way cheap on Ebay - I wouldn't want to sell mine for what I've seen them go for. If you really like the Throttlemeisters, I'd probably be willing to part with mine if the price is right. _________________ Jim
