Hello Guilherme,

I live in San Jose (1 hr south of San Francisco). I would have loved to join you guys but will be traveling to China & India in this time frame.

One resource I can suggest for your planning are the MAD maps www.madmaps.com (that's Motorcycle Adventure Destinations). These maps have suggested routes and biker stops identified.

When you're in Californistan be sure to grab a burger at In-n-Out. Great burgers and FRESH fries along with outstanding employees.

Look for this:

Thanks again, Jo, for that super tip , the Motorcycle Museum! I love old bikes!
I will stop there, of course!
And Duck, I'll look for the In-N-Out Burger's places.
How could I go to USA and not eat a tradicional USA Burger?? Wink
Thanks for all tips, guys!
And Jo, you must wear XL, I presume. Just to not bring the wrong size to you.... Rolling Eyes

Even better, there are a few MARGIES Diners...LOTS of great food, and a decent price.
I've been to the museum several times now, and I enjoy it. Always something new.

mr drmalacarne and mrs drmalacarne just rode 300 miles in the mojave desert and the central valley of california...

they were amazing fresh... must be the wing... and hd beanie helmets...

so we met up in exeter at this place...

we all ended up having...

Portobello Mushroom Sandwich ~ a HUGE Portobello grilled then
sauteed with our own Orange BBQ sauce, white wine and veggies
over fresh sweet roll...

then The Chocolate Trauma ~ A scoop of our own Chocolate Fudge Ice
Cream, with a Chocolate Ganache Tart, covered in Hot Fudge ... All
homemade... Chocolate with a side of chocolate covered in
chocolate, Oh My !!!

they speak brizilian... we speak usa... couldnt understand a thing they said... so we just smiled at each other... i think they babblefish the k11og...

dang... they already got some wing buddies... so they are off to 3 rivers for rest then a big day of big trees and some of mother earths finest efforts high in the sierras...

crazy aint it...

you gotta eat...

JO!
First thanks a lot to you and Micki to be so patient and friendly with us!
I wish we had more time to ride and eat more delicious things, like the Portobello mushroom sandwich and that crazy fantastic dessert....

Here I am, lost, searching the way to the Orange Blossom Special....
Duck, I bought a TomTom Rider 2 GPS that helped a ton, in my trip.
I believe if wasn't it, I'll be searcing the way out of LA until now....
But I must buy a Brazil Map to use it here in Brazil.

JO, I must try to duplicate this sandwich here....
And I'll eat one alone.....what a regreat.....

The smiling group! After 2 hours smiling and making "Hum, Hum!", "Yes, Yes!"....and other onomathopeyas sounds....

I never had seen Adriana so happy!

Thanks again a lot, JO and Micki!
I hope see you in Brazil some day!

P.S. I'll post some pictures of the trip later.

Guilherme.

First the plane breakfest, from Washington to SF.

And it started in SF, with a seafood in Giraldelli Square, with a typical crab and a fish plate.

The first part of a 2400miles trip in 11 days.
Guilherme.
