A friend has experienced bevel box failure on his K1200RS while on holiday and I'm trying to get him some help. Does anyone know if the bevel boxes on a 2000 K1200RS and a '96 K1100LT are interchangeable in an emergency? Ratios are not important...will it fit? _________________

By "bevel box", I suppose you are talking about the final drive, or rear end?
If that is true, there should be no interchangeability problems.

Martin, I have a full gearbox, shaft and final drive for a K11, near Wigan.
Bought as a testbed for my g/box ratio experiments, I have not yet opened it up.
If I can help, let me know _________________ C1 200 (2001)

Thanks but it's not a K11 final drive I was after. I have a K11 F/D and wanted to know if it could be fitted to my friend's K1200RS as a stopgap measure, but it's been sorted now. Thanks again. _________________
