|
|
Folks
Having been here a couple of months, there appear to be many K11 jockeys across the UK and RoI.
Anyone interested in a meet up - maybe at :
Classic Bike SHow, Stafford, April 26/27
Thundersprint, Northwich, May 10th
NABD Rally, Cheshire, May 9-11
Any other suggestions ? _________________ C1 200 (2001)

My rally schedule for this year looks a bit like this,
Bum in the Mud rally Mersea Island end of April
BMF show Peterborough May
GEMS Detling Kent
Mancunian Sidecarnival Cheshire
Bexley Gropers rally Hever Castle Kent September
Holland And Belgium last half of September
Condom Rally Mersea Island October
I may throw in some other options or be open to suggestion but I have to give notice for annual leave so I have to book early. _________________ Fat Ba***d with a K1100LTse

Possibly. Not sure what I'd doing rallywise this year, pondering the BMW Club Easter do in Talgarth, was thinking of camping, but as the weather is set for cold this coming weekend might see if the bunkhouse is still available.
Other than that only the Weston MAG GWR rally for sure. Do want to do some more and a trip north to Scotland, just need to pull my finger out and sort things

Blimey you guys are organised - I have nothing planned whatsoever. I have been thinking recently about taking the plunge and leaving the kids on their own for a day or so, but the thought of leaving 4 teenagers to their own devices is not a happy one. Let me know if you plan a meet and I will see how it fits with my work schedule. Gotta do it sometime! _________________ 1980 CB900FA

How about the BMW Club National rally, organised by the Oxford Section (location TBA) August Bank Holiday.
a) It's reasonably central.
b) We are going,
c) For identification, wear ones K11 T shirt. Or ride your K.

Hey Tech
What is the Holland/Belgium meet. Might be something I could be interested in plus meet some new BMW riders?

It's a rally mainly aimed at sidecars but soilos are welcome just outside Lier Belgium at a small town called Berlaar. It kicks off on Friday 26 September and ends on the Sunday morning. _________________ Fat Ba***d with a K1100LTse

Why, for God's sake? Nasty, overpriced, noisy and hasn't been used to launch any significant new motorcycle for years. And if you're looking for show 'bargains' among the kit and accessories, you'll find better deals at any autojumble.
I hate the Bike Show. |
