Any time I see "up to xx increase in horsepower" I get suspicious.
Then I am even more leery when I see power increases displayed on a dyno chart with nothing to indicate who did the testing.
Also, there are characteristics described that are very difficult to quantify: "crisp acceleration", "much more horsepower and torque", "surprisingly increased throttle response"
Parts of the eBay ad are written like an early 60's Jap motorcycle owner's manual (really BAD English):
"Peak up acceleration and dynamism by up to 30 %" (WHAT??)
This thing looks as effective as one of those Vortex intake sheetmetal P.O.C. that the Two Guys Garage flim-flam on TV.
Of course I may be wrong about this whole thing and it may be the greatest thing since disc brakes. I'm wavering since I saw the one feature that might just convince me:
"Bright red light design." NOW THAT IS A HUGE SELLING POINT _________________ John & Cathy

Same here. I didn't even bother reading it. If you got the cash have your bike put on a DYNO machine and tune it that way. Kind of expensive but your not adding something that might not work or damage something else. _________________ "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges"!

I well and truly laughed out loud, then had to explain it to Steve who doesn't get Monty Python at all.
I'm SO glad I'm not the only one that can quote Monty Python at the drop of a hat.
