Fault on 3kprm, could be CPS?

Hi.
Have a -94 K11LT that stalls at 3000prm, regardless of throthle or gear.
Also regardless of engine and ambient temp.

Have been to workshop today and they found no fault from diagnostic.
They filled a bottle with injector cleaning and now it's runing normal.

But I'm not compleatly confidence with the reliability of the engine as it's now.
Could a faulty crankshaft position sensor ( ingnition sensor ) cause a similar fault.
Is it possible to take ot a log from the ECU (Engine Control Unit ).
The ECU looks to me simlar to eropean car ECU's.

Hi Sven,
It's 'possible' but I've never seen a Hall Sensor fail at one specific RPM.
If it fails again, you could read out the fault codes but I doubt it will have one set.

Hi.

The fault was to low CO-value, reading 0.15.
Would bee in the range of 1.5-2.0 on a non-cat K11.

It's running better now, a "bit more" responce.
Now the clutch are spinning.

Back to workshop and replacing the tranny sealing and clutch.
Will use my garage this time as workshop.

Hi.

Replaced the clutch-plate and sealings.
Cleaned the clutch pressure plates.
It's still slipping.
Can it be that the clutch spring are getting weak over the time?
Or the steel pressure disks are getting to thin?
Clutchlevel are running smooth.

When replacing the clutch plate with a new one, you also need to adjust the bolt and lock nut on the right end of the clutch arm.

Did adjust the the clutch arm at the rear of the tranny.
Got a tips the the pressure plates could be non-flat so I wen't back to the garage and started to take the bike apart again.
Taking out the tranny tomorrow and probably order new parts.

Do a lot of touring and dislike a non perfectly reliable bike.
Like to have it another couple of years, until it's time to swap it for a newer model. Have the new GT in mind.
That's a step up from the K11LT.

Last swap was from a -76 R100RS with so called breaks and tuned to 95HP by 4V heads, new carbs and exhaust, stiffended frame, fork and swing. Runned very fast but not so reliable and as stated before "planned breaking" or "natural ABS" = "Non blocking breaks".

It was non flat pressureplates.
Working fine now, will take a 160km trip tomorrow to one of the biggest watherfalls in europe, Storforsen in sweden.

It's more wather this weekend as the snow are melting heavily in the mountains right now.

Mounted a GPS Medion GoPal 4410 with output to the radio trough a casette deck adepter routed to speakers in the helmet and mic with flexible arm mounted on the faring. Connect to the mobile ( cell ) phone by bluetouth from the GPS. A bit of toy, or on the pro side can instantly take a call w/o stopping, helm off and hopefully someone still on the line.
