Yes, if you can find a place for them to fit. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

My former (RIP) independant wrench, always kept them & would put them on his surface grinder to get the gaps dead accurate. All he ever bought were the thick ones. _________________ Regards Tim,

the BMW service manual says not to reuse buckets....I can see the need to grind as the sizes are to big for fine tuning....but with used shim buckets the wear can give greater adjustment.....
does anyone know the theory behind only replacing?? |

I think I read somewhere that, similar to rings and such, they get wear-matched(for lack of a better term) to the hole in the head.
That said, I think re-using them would be OK. It's a valve bucket on a K bike, not a space shuttle O-ring. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

My local tech sold back the shims that came out of my bike for me. Came out exact exchange so no parts cost. Don't know where, I just said thanks! _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
