| I'm dropping my fork tubes in a couple of days, and am thinking about getting a set of these while they're off. How do they mount at the bottom? It doesn't look like there's room below the dust cap. And do they sell these at most parts stores? Thanks |

Put the shock boots on - no ip tie required. Then put the plastic fork brace cover on.
They should be easy enough to find. I have to call a day ahead of time to have them delivered to the store but that's all. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

this is what i did when my seals were leaking...
i called a rancho dealer... les schwab... they said they had them so i scored a set of what i thought were the 1952s...
i left them with the idaho dealer that did the seal job last july...
when i picked up the bug eye brick they were not installed... i asked whats the deal... they said they would not fit...
i called les schwab and asked then w t f... they said they were not rancho but a direct replacement... well now the bottom diameter is too small and they are too long... i called booch1t on those fools...
not wanting bug guts and such to cause another failure i slit them up the back and trimmed the length...
i put them on with the slit in the back and attached with wire ties at the top and the bottom...
that have been doing fine since july... just small gap in the back...
yesser... im a hack... but w t f... dids whats i hads to doos...
f w i w...

That's a good idea, Johnny. I really want to put them on my LT but there's no way I'm going to drop my forks until I need to do the seals. For $12 a pair, I can afford to waste a set. _________________ 93 LT (x2)
