Looking for some info on fork gators. Searching in web is not doing it. I need a website. Do you always have to take the fork apart or do they make a wrap-around style?

Rancho Shock boots (Part # 1952) - can get them at many auto parts stores. Perfect fit on K bikes - and only about $5-6 each. They come in colors too - I use black though.

For "real" fork gaiters (like those) you need to drop the forks from the triple trees.

They also make wraparound velcro/neoprene ones. Those can actually trap dirt though.

put a slit in the bottom rear of each gaitor to allow it to breathe. It also makes spotting a leak easier.

Zip ties work well to secure the gaitors.

The Rancho shock boots already have holes in them. (Although I use a hole punch to put one at the very bottom of the back of them.)

They seem to stay in place fine w/o zip ties.

I just bought "universal fork gaiters" from www.hippohands.com. They seem like they'll work out just fine. Quality seems good and they're not too expensive @ $22.95. And you don't need to take your forks apart to install them.
