Hi K11 family,
A couple questions. As far as the ra rally goes,is it "presentable" to woman and child?I and my wife have enjoyed 2 moa rally's cuz only had a bemer for 3 yrs.Was wondering if the ra is as clean(no half dressedbiker chicks)as the moa rally is? We,more me than her have enjoyed going to a clean m/c gathering. She dont enjoy riding too much,a very lady like lady,..her daughter told me I will never get her on a m/c,but she has rode to the West Bend rally with me.
Wish to thank all for time effort and brain power for the k11 website.
I also wish to try to get a k11 t shirt this time around, what do i need to furnish in order to be in on a shirt order?
thanks keith |

Hey Keith,
Welcome to the site.
1. The shirts are a January event I believe.
2. While I have never actually been to a BMW rally, I have been to BMW events. Most are really mellow and sedate....in a good way. I can promise you will never see the antics you describe.
Good luck! _________________ Bane of your existence since July 2006

Keith,
The RA Rally is similiar to the MOA in the type of people that it draws. The MOA is usally 2 or 3 times the size of the RA Rally. The MOA usually has better door prizes and a better grand prize for what thats worth. The MOA is a little better organized, but both are always a good time. _________________ Dom |

The RA is so mellow the Biltmore allowed it full access to the estate last year. And were very happy with the riders.
I would of liked to see more BMWNA at the RA. It was mainly local region vendors....But was a lot ofun and nice people. |

The first BMW rally that I attended was a RA Rally. It was at the Wisc.
Dells. Every BMW Rally that I attended the the subsequent 30 years
was just as mellow as the first. No wet T-shirt contests, or over the top
drunken behavior noted. When I became a family man with 2 young sons,
I never hesitated to bring my family to any BMW Rally. I think you &
yours will be happy at any Beemer event. Just my .02!! _________________ Kent

And to answer your second question.
Yes the KOG t-shirts will be offered again in January.
I'll be taking the orders soon.
