Well, the East Coast Fly-in is less than two weeks out now. Last message on the old board only got responses from two people. Let's try it again. Tally up if you're planning on being at the Mt. Pisgah Inn to ride with the K11OGers the weekend of 7/25 - 7/26.

I plan to ride down from Maine, at this point. I would be arriving later in the day on Friday, the 25th. Return trip would happen on Sunday, the 26th. I expect we could all meet on Saturday AM for breakfast and hit the road for a day of riding on the BRP and area.

Who is in??

I was planning to be riding in the area but it seems as though I have burned a valve and/or broken a valve spring. The K will be down next weekend. This is the first engine breakage I've had in 120K miles of K bike ownership! Crying or Very sad

For anybody else that might be thinking of dropping by, the East Coast Fly-In has dried up. Unfortunately, not enough response from K11 riders. All others planning to attend have now made other plans and won't be anywhere near Mt. Pisgah this coming weekend.

Let's keep next year in mind. I'm still up to the 16hr ride to meet up with a pack of K11 riders for the weekend. End of April doesn't seem to work, so we'll have to try another weekend next year.

In the meantime, if you're planning to attend the MOA Rally in July, give a shout. I've rearranged my plans to be in Charleston, WV and hope to meet up with a _flock_ of K Pilots!

Ride Safe!
Shawn

Shawn,
It can be frustrating to arrange a meeting of K11 riders. We seem to be an independent loose "group". I tried to pull us together at the MOA Rally in Midland MI. I posted a date/time/location to meet and I was the only one to show up. As it turned out, the bike judging was starting and I decided to enter my 93' K1100RS and ended up with 3rd place, so it was not a total loss. Lets try it again and setup a meeting. I'll be there.
