Exhaust Systems
by Ted Verrill
Staintune
|
This stainless
steel product is widely respected as the best aftermarket exhaust
for the K11 series BMW. Comes in both touring and sport models.
Installation: Difficult
Need: With the early K100 bikes the exhaust had a habit
of cracking. Improvements have largely made the K11 series exhaust
more durable so aftermarket systems are generally as a performance
upgrade. (Note, problems with K11 exhaust header bolts coming
loose.)
Cost: $700 to $1,000
Return Policy: Dealer Dependent.
