The shipping rates are pretty stiff to the US, but they do have a part I need that no one else has. Hmmm. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

Thanks Al
You saved me a lot of leg work
John,
Just bought an entire oil pump parts kit for $73.
I got $30 FedEx shipment to CA
Much cheaper than buying individual parts within the US.
I could not locate a kit in the US. MaxBMW sells individual parts that add up to $134 + shipping
YMMV

I use Motobins(UK) a lot. I don't know what the weight limit is but if they don't use FedEx then they send via Royal Mail/USPS so the shipping cost is reasonable on top of their good prices. Another reason to avoid FedEx is customs hassles. I've never had any customs issues on any of my many Motobins orders shipped via Royal Mail.
And no tax!
I get all of my stainless brake lines from them. The only hassle is that they don't sell kits so you have to buy each line separately so it's a little more hassle but the pricing is good and it's not that hard to find the right part numbers. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Unfortunately the new pump shaft I ordered was damaged.
Didn't look new .
They offered to send another but I declined.
I sent it back and got a refund.
Refund didn't include postage in either direction.
It is a faulty part so why am I paying.
I got a new one from Motorworks.
I'm not able to post images..[/img] _________________ 1994 K1100 LTSE + Blackbird |
