Anybody remember the name of a third party doohickey that attached over the instrument cluster clock and would calculate mileage and stuff? _________________ 93 LT (x2)

It'd have to be a pretty dang small GPS to fit over the clock. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Just make it out of an Arduino or Raspberry Pi Zero if you want it tiny. _________________ To err once is human. To do so repeatedly is incompetence.

Took a bit of Googling but I finally found it. It's called a Fuel Plus.

You found it before I saw your post.
The guy quit making those quite awhile ago - although he - or someone else - was still making them for airplanes the last time I looked. _________________ Jim

Yep, it originally replaced the internal clock(Jim used to have one, or still does). Then Dave updated the unit so it was more universally applied to bikes other than BMW.
However, he's no longer making them. He quit about 10 years ago or so(My last contact with him was in 2010). I got one of his last ones made for my '95LT.
The domain name has been purchased by a company that does jet engine fuel systems overseas.
I have his name and phone# as of 2010 if you want it. _________________ Ride safe.

My original '93 K-RS came with one but I wasn't interested in having it.
I gave it to Jim (Saltcreek). He later sold his K-LT with that still attached. _________________ John & Cathy

That is sad to hear, I hope he's still doing great. |
