|

A friend of mine was running something similar to these in his GS. These use tiny 3014 SMD LEDs which put out an amazing amount of light since these have 144 LEDs per bulb. They CLAIM to avoid hyperflash but I have my flasher relays modified to work with any LED bulb so I don't know about that.
You buy them for about $17/pair on Amazon but if you're patient and can wait a few weeks for delivery you can get them much cheaper from Ali Express. (I bought 8 of them for $18.48 with tax and shipping.)

Here's how they compare to the stock filament bulb. They are quite noticeably brighter.
Being LEDs, they cause the factory flasher relay to hyperflash so to run these you either need to use a Signal Minder or do an easy minor mod to the factory relay:

If left on these do generate some heat so I wouldn't use the running light feature of the Signal Minder with these. Even the dual filament bulbs in the old Run-N-Lite products would eventually cause turn signal lenses to warp. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Thanks, Drake!
Did you buy white? Or amber / yellow?
You have any idea what the difference is between the BA and BAU designation? _________________ Jim

Amber. LEDs work best when they match the lens color. For example, if you put a white LED behind a red lens then it will appear pink, not red.
The nubs on the base that hold the bulb in are different between a BA15S and BAU15S. A BA15S (what K bikes use) has the nubs 180 degrees apart. A BAU15S has the nubs 150 degrees apart.
