I have just sorted out a friends K75s which would not run at idle speed although it was OK when under load. It turned out to be the crankcase breather tube had pulled away from the spigot at the back of the airbox. and upsetting the fuel/air mixture
I don't have a K75 any more, but was wondering if the K1100LT/RS bikes had a similar arrangement where the idle speed would drop of and the engine stall if the breather tub pulled off or was damaged.
If there is a breather tube from the crank case to the airbox, where is it located and how do you get to it. The BMW workshop Cd Rom does not appear to make any mention or maintenance of one. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

Do a search for "cyclonic", you will come up with a number of posts to review.
Sadly some of them are now without pictures(thanks to photobucket changes) but you should still find what you are looking for. _________________ Ride safe.
