For various reasons the K1100RS sidecar rig has been sitting in pieces for several months. Finally started putting her back together. All the parts are bagged and each bag is labeled, however have this one "wave washer that was in the bag with the bits for the hall sensor that I can not figure out where it came from. Have looked through the shop manual, Max BMW parts web site, and google.

Any ideas?

I don't recall ever seeing that part. It doesn't go between the rotor cup and little round plate.

Did you remove the rotor flange at the end of the crank shaft? That the plate and rotor cup attach to?

Without something to give it scale it is difficult to identify, but going by the large hole in the middle it looks like a wave washer that is on the brake discs to stop the disc rattle

Nope, did not remove the rotor flange. I removed the front cover of the motor to access the cam chain tensioner.

It's a bout the same outside diameter as the rotor cup, so about 2 inches give or take. Definitely not from the brakes.
