Going through the new bike trying to get things right. The right hand mirror is very loose. It is held securely, but it wobble around when riding. The left side is a little loose.
Are they held on the same way as the RS, with those clips?
It looks like there was some sort of material between the mirror and the fairing body, but I can not find the mirrors on the BMW parts fiche. So is there a gasket between the mirrors and the fairing? If so replacing that may tighten the mirrors up a bit. _________________ 1997 K1100LT

Yes, they use the same clips.
Yes, there is a couple of gaskets.
At max's fiche, sub section 51(vehicle trim), the mirrors are further down the list but they are there. The gaskets are listed, about $10 each.
They are listed with 4 different part #'s(2 for each side), not sure what the differences are....
