Hey!
I've replaced the airbox on my k100 -16valve and i want to get rid of the ugly and poor performing cyclonic separator, i've seen someone post this "scheme".
Has someone tried this and can confirm it works?
Best regards.

I have done this mod on both of my 1100's and I've not had any issues.
I've noticed that I have a better "negative" pressure in the crankcase when the bike is running.
Oil consumption is about the same.

Just did this on my k11rs. Too early to tell for sure but so far so good. I used that diagram as a guide.
Another alternative is to not connect rear crank case breather to the throttle body sync tubes and have it vent to atmosphere.

Becareful when removing the oetiker clamp on the front (timing chain side) breather hose, the 'nozzle' can snap.
