Took a day trip from Reno to Vegas and back to just have lunch with some fellow musicians. Just staying in the loop there. Not exactly iron butt stuff, but 860 or so miles round trip. Already blazing hot in Vegas and was never more glad to get out of there, off the hot surface streets, and back into the breeze.
My trusty '96.

They came to me that way. I'm the fourth owner, so I don't know if they were retail this way or someone painted them. If someone did it, it's a nice smooth job.
I have, since this picture, blacked out both saddle bags. The left one had a really stupid looking checkered flag someone tried to do in an effort to mask some scratches in the factory silver. I figure matte black all over the bags looked much better than a checkered flag. _________________ 1996 K1100LT
