Hi to all,
I'm a new member of this forum even if in the past i've owned 6 BMW motorcycles: K75, K100RS 16v, R100R, R1100S, K100 and now the fantastic K1100RS Final edition 1996.
In may 2011, I saw the bike in a public garage, it was very dirty and ruined, it seemed abandoned for many years.
I decided to find the owner and to make an offer to him for the bike.
So, in the following days, I bought the bike for 500 € and I carried it to my mechanic.
Now, after 3 month working and over 2500€ spent, my BMW K1100RS Final Edition is a new bike.
In the following link the pictures story.

Very nice. It is good to see someone take a machine like you did and put it back on the road. |

Bravo!
Great video of it firing up (for the first time?), would love to have heard it after all was done.
Great job! _________________ Steve

yes, for the first time after 5 years, it started without problem and without changing oil, liquid, sparks, etc.
Only the old K series can do this !!!
Now, after all works, is like a Rolex sound |
