Yes the owner has done this. Up to 5500rpm the bike runs perfectly which most probably would not because of an injector fault.
Not necessarily. Notice that the thread in the link I supplied begins ... |

I assume you checked to make sure the injectors and plugs are getting a good signal?
If so, maybe clogged fuel injectors? See post #14 here: https://www.k100-forum.com/t1590-won-t-rev-past-5000 |

You did know that there are 2 fuses associated with the tail/brake lights and BMU unit. #1 and #2 are both related to BMU operation.
Yes, both are fine. |

I was doing my Spring inspection today and found that my brake and tail light is dead. It's not the bulb and it's not the fuse. I assume it's probably the BMU? Should I remove it, clean contacts, try ... |

Great info, much appreciated. But aren't there variants of this motorcycle? I thought they were designated T100x with the x being an additional letter. |

Let it go already. No one said squat about the LED's generating more heat than filament bulbs. They don't need to do that, they just need to generate enough heat to warp it. I'm unsubscribing from thi ... |

As for LEDs, the LEDs in my cluster kits are very low wattage and generate virtually no heat compared to a filament bulb. The warped faceplates I've seen are on the bikes when purchased and not caused ... |

I was going to say 'heat generating bulbs' shouldn't be your issue Duck as I'd imagine all your bikes are converted to LED cluster lights.
