If anyone is concerned about using brake cleaner, I suggest Mass Air Flow and Throttle Body cleaner - they don't affect plastic, and evaporate very quickly.

There's an empty hole on the left switch perch you can use with RAM mounts. That puts the GPS out of the way, but within easy reach.

Dirty switch. Or, could be a loose connection. Most likely the switch. Usually even a squirt of WD40 will get it going again - contact cleaner is probably better.
