That's a weird pre-sock with the attachment in the middle. The factory one has it at the end. I don't see how the middle attachment one would ever work well in a K tank. |

Did you get fuel pumps 2 & 3 from the same source? If so, stop using that source.
Just because it comes from Europe doesn't mean that it's good. Think Triumph TR7 or anything Fiat. |

It's a bracket that supports the exhaust on the right side of the square box part of the exhaust.
You won't crash if you ride without it. |
