The throttlemeister
is the top of the line bar-end throttle lock. Delivered with matching
stainless steel barend weight, it is well made and should anything
go wrong you can call and talk to Dell, the inventor and manufacturer,
himself. Some K1100 owners have reported a high-pitched vibration
and audible buzz from the unit, but it appears to be in a limited
number and the folks at Throttlemeister have apparently worked out
a fix.
Installation: Easy
Need: Depends on the amount of long-distance riding and the
amount of right-hand discomfort from lack of stretching and rest.
Cost: $100.
Return Policy: Depends on your dealer.

The Bob's Wrist
Rest is a favorite of many as it tightens clockwise, opposite the
rotation of opening the throttle. It replaces the right-hand barend
weight, and comes in black to match the stock BMW barend weight at
the left grip.
Installation: Easy
Need: Depends on the amount of long-distance riding and the
amount of right-hand discomfort from lack of stretching and rest.
Cost: $60.
