Now that I've finally got the ABS working, I took the K75F for a ferry ride and a 50 mile jaunt up to the cabin.

I switched it over to a C fairing because the K100 one gave a lot of chest blast doing 70 on the freeway.

Other stuff:

New Galfer braided stainless steel brake lines in the front:

Chrome Manic Salamander bar ends:

Rick Mayer seat:

LED voltmeter and bar mounted fuel gauge:

IBA license plate back:

I have one thing left to install. These Line-X'd knee pads:

Can you see me now?

LEDified reflector running lights/turn signals:

I'd been using it to run errands now and then. Now that I have the ABS finally working it's more or less complete and I'll be riding it a lot more. It's got NGK iridium plugs, Magnecor spark plug leads, reconditioned fuel injectors and it runs like a top.

I did this to get better brakes but the one thing I didn't realize until riding it on Wednesday was that the forks, being from a K1100, are stiffer and came from the factory with progressive springs. MUCH better than K75 forks and I really like how the front end behaves.

Looks nice and light for hopping onto those errands, around town and flicking about Smile

But FD says he uses NGK iridium plugs, I have heard him praise them before.

What's with the plugs? Do they perform better or just less maintenance?

I reckon the FD has got the beads in for tyre balancing..right?

I will also use them, FD has been convincing on the KBMW forum on them, but prolly I'll use a cheap version, being cheap Wink

Enjoy that Ride
All the best

No beads in those. Those are the wheels and tires from when I switched my LT to radials and a wider rear wheel. They are already balanced. They are bias ply Michelin Mac 50s that have lots of miles left. I need to use those tires up so I can install radials.

The NGKs are good plugs and last a long time.
