'97 K1100LT

Curious as to what modification to my bike for handling would be the most 'cost-effective' improvement. I see the Progressive Shock at 350.00, do they make that much noticeable change? (1"Lowering seat height for me would be ok.) Have read that the front fork spring replacement may be a great improvement as well....thought i may do one or the other this winter...

The BEST single handling improvement is to switch to radial tires from bias ply if you haven't already. Night and day improvement. Even better, swap on an RS rear wheel so that you can run Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires front and rear.
