I've been mostly riding my K1100s lately. Today, our last day of sun until July, I took the K75 Frankenbike out and ran a bunch of errands. Half the time when I stopped for a stop sign or a light, I kept thinking the engine had died. Nope, look down and it's idling at 1,000 RPM. Very Happy

I met up with an acquaintance who rides a HD with straight pipes. We were sitting at a light idleing. He shouted, "This isn't fair, I can't hear yours." I replied, "I can't hear mine either."

Haha - my K75 is so smooth I have been thinking of nicknaming her "The Brazilian."

I was riding up 395 in CA a few years ago on my K100RS4V with a Staintune exhaust. I saw cruiser up ahead and there wasn't anyone else around so I wicked it up to 100 or so to pass him in the left lane just for kicks. A few miles later I pulled in for gas. After a few minutes he pulled into the same gas station. "What kind of exhaust in that? I didn't even hear you when you passed me!" Rolling Eyes Apparently many people think the purpose of a motorcycle is to convert gasoline into noise.
