Some time back I found some excellent diagrams of the pinouts for the connections to the clocks plus nice diagrams of the iternal connections.

I think they were in German !!!

My K75 clocks are giving me hassles and true t form I cant find the diagrams on my PC or the site they were at.

Can anyone point me to some good info on the K clocks, hopefully from the same site.

Cheers

Thanks for the help with the diagrams.
The clocks are opened and on the bench.
I'll be powering them up soon to find and intermittent connection with the speedometer and find why the odometer registers around ½ the km’s travelled. They are possibly related.
Question.. does anyone have a cure for the rot thats has started at the pins ?
Pin #1 broke off when I opened the case.

Cheers

My old K100 I had that problem, I had about 10 tracks broken at the pins. I used a very small stainless steel wire brush and laboriously cleaned all around the pins. Any that had corroded enough I tinned with solder wrapped some wire wrap wire around the base then scraped some of the solder mask off it's track and soldered the wire wrap wire onto the track. You need a proper temperature controlled soldering iron, ie not a cheapy or it will lift the track off the circuit board. It took some time but it worked for several years after that before I sold it.

I have a very good quality temp controlled soldering iron, no hassles there. I’ll pick up some wrapping wire today and dig out my stainless tooth brush.
I wonder if a small dab of decent quick setting epoxy or super glue paste would be best to hold the broken pin in place ?

Thanks for the advise.
BTW... sorry about the lack of typo’s

My gut feeling is gluing it in place would only hold it if it went right through the hole in the circuit board, but not if it was just stuck on the top. I'd make a new pin that can go right through the board, perhaps out of some thick copper wire like mains wire ie thick and single strand stuff or something about the same thickness. It needs to go through the board to get mechanical stability.
