is not a beemer. She's a cruiser chick being somewhat vertically challenged.
I was kinda opposed to a 2 cylinder tractor engine so we were looking at Honda Magnas with it's 80HP V4 powerplant. Then she left for the weekend and went and looked at a blue one. Whoops, it followed me home.
Gal was asking $3K and after going over it for about an hour I lowballed her with 25 hun and she took it.
Spent the whole day Sunday cleaning it and worrying that she wouldn't like it.
Came with saddlebags, a T-Bag for the sissy bar. Even a trickle charger!
Wife came home and it looks like she likes.
The factory seat sucks (where have we heard that before?) but jo sent me a link to some beauty palour that does seats on the side.

It's like a big soft pillow. I can get her a better seat and lower to the ground at the same time. That's it _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

judging from the smile, the four cylinder tractor is welcome - and you should be good for another bike for yourself if you catch her while still in that mood _________________ David, owner of:

Scott,
Honda engine, huh? Well at least you aren't increasing the # of bikes in your garage that need constant attention.
That machine will be JUST gas and go.
Nice find. Many happy miles.

It DOES have loud pipes. It has a jet kit installed and the baffles are missing.
That will be fixed. That engine sounds sweet with the stock setup.
Plug for tire service. Ordered a rear from SWmoto for her bike (8 years old) Monday A.M. and it was sitting outside my shop Tues. when I got home. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT

Good bike! It was never a success over here, but it sure had one powerful argument: the engine from the VFR 750. This one really was (is) a cult bike. That V4... and such a balanced bike!
Good luck, and I hope your wife enjoys the ride! _________________ Carlos

Yea, Karlos, she wanted a cruiser so I told her she needed the V4. It's a great engine for a relative newbie. It doesn't develop it's HP until you get above 7K, with redline at 9.7. It's only pushing about 50HP at the RPMs she's going to be running. But when she ever decides she needs it, drop a gear or two and run away and hide from 99% of the Harleys om the road. _________________ Scott Hespelt, '94 K11LT
