Found this stuck in a saddlebag. I believe it's the radio removal tool. How does it work??

You will find two sets of holes that these forks go into, for and aft on the radio. Push them down into the holes to release the radio. Lift up on the radio and the forks at the same time.

Also note that unless you're replacing the radio there is no need to remove it. You have to remove the surrounding faceplate anyhow to remove the "bucket." Makes more sense to remove everything together. _________________ 93 LT (x2)

Radio hasn't worked since I got the bike, it powers on, but nothing from it. I'm taking it to an old gent who's good a fixing radios. Is there a service manual for the radio? The factory manual doesn't say much. _________________ 1997 K1100GT |

You probably need to enter the 4 digit security code. Mine was with my manual. _________________ 2012 R1200RT Midnight Blue

I might suggest that the better action would be to replace the radio. There are many out there that sound much better, pick up signals better and offer more listening options.
